Marion Bataillard (1983) lives and work in Paris, France. She graduated from the School of Art and Design (ESAD). Despite featuring new, often urban spaces, the characters that populate Marion Bataillard's paintings, alone or in groups, continue to animate her work, to raise both the pictorial and metaphysical question of incarnation: "I like to think of the world like the Creation and its inhabitants like creatures, powerful and powerless at the same time. This makes them lovable to me."
